Terry Peterson and Jeff Evans' respect as guides in the NW Wisconsin area is well founded.  With over 30 years of guiding experience, these guys fish a variety of northern Wisconsin lakes for Musky, Walleye, Large and Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Panfish.  Fishing begins the 1st weekend in May and runs well into late Fall.  Terry and Jeff each provide fully outfitted trips that cater equally to both Trophy and Inexperienced Anglers alike.   Join Terry and Jeff as they put you on great fishing amidst the scenic and historic lakes of Northern and NW Wisconsin.

Black Bear and Bobcat Hunting

Fully Guided Wisconsin Bear Hunts are a specialty at Deer Trail Lodge.  Whether you hunt with bow or rifle, over bait or with dogs, Gary Sprague will ensure you every opportunity to fill your valuable tag.  Several stand sites bordering the Chequamegon National Forest give access to an excellent bear population and thousands of acres of pristine wilderness.  Gary guarantees that you will have a chance to harvest one of these majestic animals.  You must draw a WI Bear Permit prior to booking a hunt.

If you are lucky enough to draw a WI Bobcat Permit, Deer Trail Lodge can also outfit you with an unforgettable experience. Full taxidermy service by Silverbrook Taxidermy in Ashland ensures the proper care of your animal from skinning to finished mounts.

Mike Brown and his well-trained dogs have been chasing birds throughout the Chequamegon National Forest their entire lives.   His incredible knowledge of the game he chases and the land he hunts always provides informative and enjoyable hunting experiences.  Grouse Hunting begins in early September and runs through the end of December.
